Your AI assistant does the shopping: it reads recipes, matches every ingredient to real products, and builds the cart for you. Connect the Peristyle Grocery Cart once, then any recipe is one message away from a ready-to-checkout cart. Two steps:

How to add it in Claude
  1. Open Claude on the web or desktop app and go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector, name it Peristyle Grocery Cart, and paste the URL above.
  3. In a new chat, check the tools menu (the sliders icon) to make sure the connector is enabled.

Custom connectors work on any Claude plan, including the free one.

How to add it in ChatGPT
  1. ChatGPT calls these apps. Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors (on some plans just Connectors).
  2. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
  3. Choose Create, name it Peristyle Grocery Cart, paste the URL above as the MCP server URL, set authentication to OAuth, and save.
Other apps (Cursor, Claude Code, Zed…)

One honest limit: Kroger cart writes are add-only. It can put items in your cart, but it can't remove them, change quantities, or clip digital coupons — do those in the Kroger app or on kroger.com before checkout.
